A Fascination with Creative Process, Nancy Culmone, Guest Lecturer
We had a great turn out for first meeing of the year. It was great to chat with old friends meet guests and new members. The evening began with a summary of the exciting year our board has planned for us, then Jacqueline Lacey, Beverly Frank, and Jean Igoe received books of appreciation for their years of service on the board. The books were bound by Edna Wright and lettered by Debbie Lyman.
Then we listened and learned with colored pencil artist, Nancy Culmone. A creative odyssey includes mentoring and moving beyond mentors into your own work. Nancy’s slide show presentation offered insights into the varied nature of this journey through the voices and works of artists and outside artists from several disciplines: printmaking, book arts, calligraphy, metalsmithing, and mixed media.
