June 2007 General Meeting

Golden Products: Lecture and Demo,
Guest Presenter, Chris Cozen

IMG_0108This was our last meeting of the year, and, as promised, there were surprises for everyone in attendance. Chris Cozen’s presentation of Golden Acrylics products was a fun, informative lecture about acrylics and their application possibilities, including the use of acrylics as grounds for other media. Many left with sample products, and all gained new insights.

Our new 2007-2008 workshops packet was available for signups. Yvonne and the Board have outdone themselves arranging a wonderful, educational and fun year for us.

The current board was confirmed for 2007-2008 with the welcome addition of Linda West as Library Chairperson and the reluctant good bye to President Diane Reiter and Vice President Trish Martini.

We wish everyone a happy and healthy summer. Collect your artistic memories and share them with all of us next September.

We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to try out some of the many, many products and techniques Chris described. And some actually thought they were done buying art supplies before this evening.
