“Trash and Treasures,” Annual Auction

We said thank you to our retiring Board members: Diane Reiter, Mary Kloha, Dianne Decker-Houser, Pat Sunda, Trisha Martini, Risa Gettler, and Marsha Vantesky. Their contributions of time and energy into making SDFC successful are much appreciated.
Elections for 2006-2007 officers were held this evening and a new board was acclaimed unanimously. They are: President Diane Reiter, Vice President Trisha Martini, Secretary Sue Mann, Treasurer Jeanen Monteleone, Workshops Chairperson Yvonne Perez-Collins, Membership Kathy Gilchrist, Newsletter Ginger Johnson, and Publicity Kathleen Morgan. Library and Exhibits are still open.
Workshops packets for 2006-07 were passed out, as was information about our upcoming exhit at the Poway Performing Arts Center in September.
The next activity was Trash and Treasures as guest auctioneer Dianne Decker-Houser enticed us to bid on pens, ink, paper, watercolors, rubber stamps, books and other gems.
And, before we knew it, another year was over as we bid each other a good summer filled with fun, friends, and calligraphic adventures.
