Going Digital - Photographing your artwork with a digital camera, Guest Lecturer, Jon Harwood
The program included camera set ups, basic equipment, and lighting techniques using items commonly found in the home. Jon gave each of us a wonderful packet of materials, a basic manual we can all use. He also patiently answered many questions. This was truly a difficult topic that he handled well.

A NOTE FROM YVONNE
Our May general meeting will be another fun, fast-paced and wonderfully organized presentation by Sylvia Kowal. She is a talented calligrapher and paper project teacher. It will be our most highly attended hands-on meeting this year. There will be a $5 fee for every SDFC member attending that night. There will be a $5 fee for every guest attending that night plus a $20 fee that will provide our guests with a prorated membership to SDFC. This will enable them to join us in our special members only, June Gala. Sylvia's “Cards That Flip and Fold” program is easily worth more than the typical $35 and higher workshop fees that rubber stamp and scrapbook stores charge. We are fortunate to host our Pasadena friend once again and appreciate that everyone attending will listen attentively, share table space, and help get the meeting room setup. SDFC is as good as everyone participating makes it. I will have the reservation list at the March meeting and will be accepting the $5 payment to reserve your kit for the program. One kit per person in attendance.
