Ukrainian Festival: Catamaran Hotel and Balboa Park, Labor Day Weekend, 2010
Led by Mary Kloha, several SDFC members contributed time at the Ukrainian Festival by hand-lettering bookmarks. The photo, below, shows the practice Carole Johnson did in preparation for the events. SDFC volunteers were: Terry Bajo, Yvonne Perez-Collins, Carole Johnson, Mary Kloha, Nancy Lee, Debbie Lynn, and Jackie Matosian. Ironically, most people wanted their names in English, with the exception of one who wanted Ukrainian and one, Hebrew.
