Due to the small response to the Holiday Party invitation, our party has been moved from our regular meeting place to Pat & Oscar's Restaurant at 8590 Rio San Diego Drive. Everyone is welcome to join us on Friday, December 11, for a no-host dinner at 6 p.m. This get-together is being held in lieu of our regular monthly meeting. From Friar's Road, turn South on Qualcomm Way and West on Rio San Diego Drive.
If you would like to participate in the annual gift exchange, please bring a calligraphy- or art-related gift to the restaurant on Friday.
We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and that you will join us on January 15th for the first general meeting of 2010 and at the Sumptuous Paste Paper, a workshop with Xandra Zamora, January 16th and 17th.
There are still openings in our upcoming workshops, and a space at one would be the perfect gift. Drop a hint to your loved ones and have them contact Yvonne immediately for a gift certificate. Each paid seat at the January workshop will also receive a $5 discount on the SDFC 2010 membership dues.
