This year’s holiday party was on Saturday, December 13, 2008, from 2 to 4 PM at the home of Sue Rye. Members and spouses celebrated the season together. The ever-present Martinelli’s was consumed along with a variety of finger foods. (Some day we’ll require an accompanying recipe for each dish.)
 This year, some “newbies’ participated in the art/calligraphic art-related gift exchange and learned what happens when you judge a book by its cover. SDFC ornaments from years past were displayed and discussed. Those who attended enjoyed each other’s company in the relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Sue! Thank you SDFC Board.
