TO BE OR NOT TO BE...

Membership decided that SDFC should become independent and discontinue its close affiliation with Society for Calligraphy, Southern California, as of July 1, 2002.The discussion focused on how best to meet the needs of our members.

There were announcements of coming workshops, including an extended studies series of classes with Teri Martin, news updates, and the raffle of a beautifully painted terracotta pot by Sylvia Kowal. Marilyn Dailey was the lucky winner.

Members’ Store

Prior to the start of the January general meeting, the Members’ Store was open for business.

Location and Directions

San Diego Education Association Conference Room, 10393 San Diego Mission Road Suite 300, San Diego, California, 92112 (There is no phone available at our meeting site.).

Directions: Take Friars Road to Rancho Mission Road (just east of I-15), turn south. Proceed to the intersection at the bottom of the hill. Turn right (west) onto San Diego Mission Road. Turn left into the first driveway past the shopping center. The parking lot is behind the building.
